At MidAmerica Plastic Surgery and The Spa at MidAmerica, we are excited to announce a new service, Avéli!
As stated on their website, Avéli delivers a long-term reduction in the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thighs for a wide variety of women covering the full spectrum of cellulite complexity.
While many treatments approach cellulite blindly from the outside-in, Avéli is the only minimally invasive procedure that uses a handheld device guided by an expertly trained provider—to manually target and release the septa bands causing cellulite from the inside-out. Avéli is not a procedure that addresses other concerns often seen alongside cellulite, such as pockets of fat or laxity. However, Avéli can still be a great stand-alone procedure for those with minimal laxity, or as an add-on to enhance your surgical or injectable results.
A typical Avéli procedure will take around an hour, but exact timing will vary depending on your personalized procedure plan.
After your procedure, it is common to experience mild pain in the first 24 hours and bruising and tenderness to the touch. This is typically resolved within 30 days. You can expect to see cellulite improvement once the swelling and bruising subsides. By one-month, you should start to see the effects of Avéli!
Another great thing about Avéli is the limited downtime. There is limited to no downtime and studies have shown that most patients return to normal activities within 24-48 hours. When it comes to exercise, we recommend avoiding any strenuous activities or workouts in the first few days and weeks after the procedure. This will give the treated area more time to heal.
If you are looking for a long-term reduction in cellulite dimples from a single minimally invasive procedure, Avéli could be for you! Call our office at (618)288-7855 to schedule your consultation with Dr. Diederich to learn more!
